That wallpaper really piqued my interest in the movie. It was a fake, however, but Ledger's joker was by far the best I've seen on film yet, even more demented than the one in the wallpaper.

Without Ledger, this movie would've been nothing. Terribly sad that he died so early...

Re: How to Game YouTube and Go Viral

The thumbnail trick is an effective method to get tons of views in a small period of time!

Re: Syncing Social Updates: Using Twitter with Facebook and Pownce Syncing

@JDS:

Well, considering that Pownce is now down and out, there are several apps on Facebook that sync your twitter stream to your profile in different ways. Twitter is one of those services that you don't really utilize or understand until your immerse yourself in it. The more people you follow, the more diverse your tweets and the more you engage other users, the more value Twitter actually has.

Call it my "Field of Dreams" theory, but when you tweet like there are people there to listen, they come to you. I think Twitter might be one of the fastest ways to grow and expand your network. Rather than thinking of it as updating your status, treat it like static IM shouts, and I think you might see it differently.

Re: Why I Love Twitter and Became ProBlogger/YouTube Famous

I had to stop the video through annoyance and boredom quicker than I became bored of twitter itself!

Re: Help A Reporter Out!

I LOVE HARO!
I read your article on (HARO) Help A Reporter Out. My worth as a blogger is always measured by how many I leave unread at the end of the night.

@Connie

Thus far, I haven't been able to kick the feed reader. I like being able to collect all the blogs I read in one location--a searchable location too. Perhaps someday I can replace it with just reading blogs online or using Twitter to stay up-to-date. One can dream...

For now, my worth will have to be measured by how many "unreads" I have at the end of the day. :)

Re: I am a slave to my Google Reader–efficiency is simple ignorance

Just blogged about this very thing tonight -- breaking my RSS addiction. I've given up worrying that I might miss something important, because I'm bound to anyway. I'm using other means of discovering/reading blogs. And I changed from Google Reader to Netvibes. So far I really like it.

Re: I am a slave to my Google Reader–efficiency is simple ignorance

Lol. Flipped over to google reader at work today and 350 unread. Of course I have weather.com which puts out 7 everytime it updates. Typically though I have about 20 I follow and 5 of them make up 90% of the posts. When I get behind though the best tool of google reader is the "Mark all as read" button at the top of the page. I can always tell how productive I was at work that day by how many are left unread when I check google reader after rush hour traffic.

Re: Is Community Management the future of marketing?

Great post

I've written quite a bit about community sites, so please check this out

http://www.web-strategist.c...

Re: Understand what public relations can do for you

Thanks for calling it out Jacob!
